EcuaGPS is a vehicle tracking app for an operator whose customers need to see where their vehicles are, right now, on a phone.
The interesting part of a tracking build is never the map. It is what happens when a device stops reporting — a vehicle in a basement car park, a dead zone on a rural route, a unit that loses power mid-journey. A naive implementation shows the vehicle frozen at its last known point and quietly lies to the customer. The work is in making absence visible and making the reconnect clean.
Why Traccar matters here
Traccar is the open-source GPS server platform that most independent tracking businesses build on. Naming it is deliberate: a buyer who runs a tracking operation knows the term, knows what it does and does not give you out of the box, and can tell in one question whether the person opposite has actually worked with it.
